DIRECTORS NOTE
Finding humor in the darkest of moments can be a key to survival. This dark comedic film explores how one woman writes and performs musical comedy to process her trauma and depression. Jeannine McKean is trying to dare to believe she is worth taking up space, struggling to find the courage to share her work, but determined to finally connect with people who also have been fighting an inner battle. I made this film to connect with audiences who may be struggling with mental health issues and to find a cathartic common ground. Because if we can laugh about our demons - then haven't we won? - Julia Ogilvie
